Mandarin Marmalade captures the aroma and essence of Sicily. It is made with fresh mandarins of the Ciaculli late variety, whose thin and highly fragrant peel preserves the precious scent of essential oils. Combined with sugar, lightly blended, and mixed with fresh lemon juice from the Femminello Siracusano variety, it creates a well-balanced flavor with a slightly sweet and tangy note. The cooking process is done manually and artisanally, following Nonna Aretusa’s traditional recipe, without the addition of preservatives or chemical additives.

   

Perfect for breakfast on toasted bread or paired with fresh or aged cheeses.

Since it is prepared naturally, the extra mandarin marmalade may, over time and when exposed to heat, undergo the natural process of photo-oxidation, resulting in a slight loss of color without compromising its nutritional and organoleptic qualities. The Ciaculli late mandarins come from the lands of Syracuse and are harvested in March, when the fruit is at peak ripeness—juicier, with excellent flavor and a characteristic straw-orange color. Per 100g of product: fruit 80g, total sugars 49.40g. Production period: February to March. Main ingredients: Ciaculli late mandarins, sugar, Femminello Siracusano lemon juice. This product contains no pectin or chemical thickeners and is naturally gluten-free. Shelf life & storage: 24 months – store in a cool, dry place. After opening, keep refrigerated and consume within 15 days. Ideal for breakfast on toasted bread or paired with fresh or aged cheeses. The product is gluten-free.
