Our Extra Red Onion Jam is an artisanal, genuine product with a unique flavor, capturing the essence of Sicily. Made with Sicilian red onions, known for their intense and fragrant aroma, this jam is crafted through a meticulous process: the onions are washed, hand-cut into small pieces, and left to macerate for 24 hours with white wine vinegar and bay leaves. After maceration, they are cooked at low temperature with the addition of sugar, lightly blended with a food processor, and fresh lemon juice from the Femminello Siracusano variety, following the traditional recipe. All without preservatives, chemical additives, or colorings.
