The black mulberries, large, juicy, and with their characteristic dark purple color, are rich in anthocyanins and offer a delicate and pleasant flavor. To achieve an authentic and high-quality product, we process the fresh fruits within a few hours of harvest, using exclusively manual and artisanal methods.

The mulberries are simply cooked in a pot with sugar, lightly blended, and finished with a small amount of pectin and fresh lemon juice from the Femminello Siracusano variety. Our jam, aromatic and intensely fragrant, is made with fresh black mulberries of the “Gelso della Regina” (Morus nigra) variety. As a natural and genuine product, it may occasionally contain small fruit stems, a testament to its artisanal processing. The black mulberries come from the fertile lands of Siracusa and the slopes of Mount Etna. They are harvested between May and July, at the peak of ripeness, when the fruits reach their best flavor, texture, and deep color intensity. Production period: from May to July. Main Ingredients: black mulberries, sugar, pectin, fresh Femminello Siracusano lemon juice. Shelf life and storage: 24 months – Keep in a cool, dry place. After opening, store in the refrigerator and consume within 15 days.
