Quince belongs to the Rosaceae family. With a tart and mildly sweet flavor, it is a fruit rarely eaten raw due to its hard texture. Rich in pectin, it is generally consumed cooked. To prepare our Extra Quince Jam, we process the fruits within a few hours of harvest, following a manual and artisanal process: they are cooked, cut into pieces, and passed through a sieve to extract the pulp. To this, we add sugar and fresh lemon juice from the Femminello Siracusano variety and cook until the jam is ready to enjoy.
Excellent for breakfast or snacks, spread on a slice of bread or toast.

The quinces come from the lands of Syracuse and are harvested between October and December, when the fruit is at peak ripeness. They have a tart flavor and a deep yellow color. Per 100g of product: fruit 71g, total sugars 43g. Production period: October to December. Main ingredients: quince, sugar, Femminello Siracusano lemon juice. Excellent for breakfast or snacks, spread on a slice of bread or toast. Shelf life & storage: 24 months – store in a cool, dry place. After opening, keep refrigerated and consume within 15 days.
