Extra Bell Pepper Jam is a preserve with a bold flavor that captures the essence and fragrance of Sicily. The bell peppers are carefully selected by local farmers, chosen one by one to ensure the best quality. Through an artisanal process, we remove the stems, seeds, and white membranes, then cut the peppers into pieces and let them macerate for several hours in a mixture of white wine vinegar and sugar. Finally, after a light blending, we add fresh lemon juice from the Femminello Siracusano variety to enhance the flavor.

   

Excellent enjoyed on toasted bread or paired with a fine Sicilian wine.

The bell peppers, in deep red as well as green and yellow varieties, come from the fertile lands of Syracuse and are harvested from June to September, when they reach peak ripeness. Extra Bell Pepper Jam is a 100% natural product, healthy and ideal for those with celiac disease, being free from gluten, colorants, and thickeners. Perfect enjoyed on toasted bread, it also pairs wonderfully with a fine Sicilian wine. Per 100g of product: fruit 83g, total sugars 45g. Production period: June to September. Main ingredients: bell peppers, white wine vinegar, sugar, Femminello Siracusano lemon juice. This product contains no pectin or chemical thickeners and is therefore gluten-free. Shelf life & storage: 24 months – store in a cool, dry place. After opening, keep refrigerated and consume within 15 days. It can also be enjoyed with a board of soft cheeses or aged cheeses such as Pecorino. The product is gluten-free.
