Extra Bell Pepper Jam is a preserve with a bold flavor that captures the essence and fragrance of Sicily. The bell peppers are carefully selected by local farmers, chosen one by one to ensure the best quality. Through an artisanal process, we remove the stems, seeds, and white membranes, then cut the peppers into pieces and let them macerate for several hours in a mixture of white wine vinegar and sugar. Finally, after a light blending, we add fresh lemon juice from the Femminello Siracusano variety to enhance the flavor.
Excellent enjoyed on toasted bread or paired with a fine Sicilian wine.
