Extra Strawberry Jam captures the fragrance and essence of Sicily. The strawberries, carefully selected and hand-washed, are slowly cooked with the addition of sugar. A quick blend, followed by a small amount of pectin and fresh lemon juice from the Femminello Siracusano variety, completes the process. Our Sicilian Extra Strawberry Jam is made with fresh Nabila strawberries, processed within a few hours of harvest. Perfect for breakfast or snacks, spread on a slice of bread or toast, but also delicious inside a plain croissant. The strawberries come from the lands of Syracuse and are harvested between March and May, as well as in September and October, when they are at peak ripeness. They have an excellent flavor, a delicate texture, and an intense red color. Per 100g of product: fruit 72g, total sugars 47.02g. Production period: March to May and September to October.
